The Online Event Calendar can be used to view all upcoming events in one location, whether it is a Hatquarters Red Hat Society event or a local event put on by a registered chapter of the Red Hat Society.

Online Event Calendar. Each time a member logs into the website she will see her calendar. It will show all posted upcoming events for the current month.

• Click on a specific date and all events for that day will appear in a list. Click on a specific event to view the full details.
• A member may use the flag feature to note an event that she is interested in attending and schedule automatic email reminders prior to the event (1 week prior, 2 weeks prior, etc.)
• The RSVP function may be used to email and confirm attendance with the event contact.
• You may forward by email the event information to a friend or Queens to your members.
• Best of all, you may also search for events in other months, zip codes, states and even in other countries. Use this versatile event search feature to meet with other Red Hat Society Sisters when you travel so you won't miss out on a minute of fun. Don't travel? Use this feature to discover what other chapters are doing all over the world or perhaps find a twin chapter with which to share like interests.

To post your event. Current members with Purple Perks may post events. A member must have a valid email address to announce an event. Just as the current method of event posting is now, if you choose to announce your event, other members will see your email address and use it to communicate with you about your event.

Invitations. At the time of submission, the hostess has the option to send invitations to members in her area. As invitations are received, they will appear each time that you log in to the RHS web site. If you have not logged in in a while and have unread invitations holding for you, our system will send an email on Friday to remind you "You have new Invitations!" Unread or ignored invitations will automatically drop off after seven (7) days. Receiving invitations are optional. You may choose to not receive any invitations at any time by changing this option in your Member Event Settings.
