more than just fun and festive;
it is also great
protection from the sun.

Alpha Hydrox and other AHA products exfoliate the top layer of dead skin cells. Removing the top layer of cells leaves skin exposed and more susceptible to sun damage. The sun can cause age spots, wrinkles and uneven tone. Over time even small amounts of unprotected sun exposure can result in a variety of skin problems including cancer. When using AHAs as part of your daily skin care routine, it is even more important to protect yourself from the sun.

Use a broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen with an SPF 15 or higher everyday. Sun damage can occur in the winter, on cloudy days and from minimal sun exposure. Be sure to use a sunscreen on all the skin that is exposed including your neck, arm and hands. And for even more protection from the sun, keep wearing your beautiful hats!
