Desert Ya Ya’s has been an active chapter since January 30th 2003. I have been the Queen since conception. The chapter has change over the years with the change in members. However the the Desert Ya Ya’s are still fairly active. We are involved with putting on a n Arizona Convention for about 200 Red Hatters. The Covid 19 has interfered in that but we hope to put our next one soon.2022 the Desert Ya Ya’s started to get out and about again. continuing into 2023, we started the year with a bang celebrating 20 years of red hatting . We join with Judy Wolin’s Chapter who were also celebrating 20 years We invited several other chapters to join us at the Singing Panda for a big party. The food was yummy and there was great entertainment, door prizes and table favors.
Would like to up date this description. As last year I retired from putting on the Arizona Convention her in Sun Lakes with my sister Red Hatters Judy Wolin and Fran DeSalvo.
