    WAYS TO PLAY

March is famous for St. Patrick’s Day but here are some additional chapter event ideas to consider as you perhaps prepare to hoist a green beer!

    · Throw Hello Spring or Hello Autumn Party depending on your hemisphere.

    · Celebrate March Birthdays – Hold a Pisces – Aries Birthday Party

    · Do a Celebrity Dress Up Party – Go as perhaps, Liza Minnelli, Jennifer Grey, Diana Ross, Lucy Lawless, Mariah Carey, Queen Latifah, Aretha Franklin or Sharon Stone.

    · Trash to Treasure Event – Bring pre-loved items to exchange. Instant party!

    · Easter Bonnet Parade – Sashay around town or through a restaurant wearing your biggest, best hat, a la Judy Garland!

Be sure to take pictures and share them on our Facebook public page using the hashtag RHS25.

Besides the traditional holiday events……..so many more ideas are available. We will be having a Steampunk Adventure with a play especially written for us. In May we will have a Pirate Adventure with an escape room especially written for us. We had a Road Rally earlier this month. These are just a few of the unusual events that are possible. I would love to hear other ideas.

        It was!

The first one I created puzzles to solve for different locations and made a list of items (with a point value) to photograph or bring back. The second one, I skipped the puzzles (the ladies said they were difficult) and just created a list of items to photograph or bring back. I gave instructions as to what team member was to be in the photo (the oldest at the Social Security office, the entire team on some playground equipment, etc). Both times I chose a certain location to meet, then gave them a map of an area about 5 square miles. We met in the morning, gave them a stopping time of noon, went into the restaurant for lunch while I tallied the scores. Enjoyed by all.
